Mushlings

Mushling are a group of brightyly colored creatures that are a possbly plushie brand some day. But for this progect I wanted to make an ad or comerical for mushlings. So first I wanted to make a few simple desigh for the mushlings

Starla a spaced themed charector who i gove a pair of space boots and a little star shaped hair clip

Bell who is a ballerinia so she got ballet flats and a bow

Then thier Fern a mushling who loves bugs and the
outdoor. So she got a hat with a butterfly clip and a
butterfly net.

Daffidale a graden so she got a watering can flip flop and a flower hair clip

Then thier misty who is a sailer so they got s captain hat with a fishing rod and rain boots to complete the look

One i hade figured out the desighn, And genral idea for each mushling. I started bye drawling simple background for eahc of the mushlings.

one each mushlings background were done it was time to move on to the animation. exported each part of the mushlings and then bringting them into to after effects

Once everything was exported useing the key frames I gave some simple animaimation like for daffidale she looking over and turn tward the camera. For Starla she look upward with her teliscope so it look like she looking tward the stars.

Once each mushling indvidual compition was done each of the compastion were brought into one c
ompastion where the background was added.

Then I added transtion between the diffrent mushlings to make it feel a bit more connected, And in hope that it would feel more like an ad or inrduction to the
mushling.

With this it did take some time to decide which back ground could seemlessly flow into one another. Without looking off which i think was one of the thing i strugled with.

Another thing I added was a logo for the mushling a simple orange logo with a cut out in the shape of the mushling, And then added it to the end of the motion graphic.
